Donate Food
 We gladly accept fresh or dry, canned food, including fruits and vegetables, cereal, pasta as well as personal care items, like soap, shampoo, toothpaste and diapers

Donate Items
In addition to our thrift shop, we provide free clothing and furniture to our clients based on need. We welcome new and gently used clothing, shoes and accessories, Tuesday-Saturday during regular business hours.

If you have furniture to donate, please call 401-364-9412 to make an appointment to drop your items off. Items like couches, chairs, coffee tables, dining sets, cabinets, book cases, head/foot board frames, night stands and desks are much appreciated. We prefer clean, even-toned upholstered pieces with minimal stains or tears.

The Center does not accept donations on Mondays.

Donate Time
Join our dedicated corps of over 70 volunteers. Voluntary and mandatory community service opportunities available Monday – Friday, 9:30 – 3:30. We welcome volunteers of all ages; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Jobs include:

Administrative – help with day-to-day office activities, including answering phones, data entry, word processing, filing and stuffing envelopes.

Facility – assist with warehouse operations, including unloading delivery truck, product sorting, stocking shelves, landscaping and cleaning.

Eventssupport our ongoing special event and fundraising efforts. Planning committee meets once a month.
